Large scale research identifies key issues with government
policy in relation to ‘real time’ energy displays and
smartmetering logistics, highlighting design oppertunities
for product and systems designs. Research into human
behaviour also points to a stratagy for maximising public
commitment to energy reduction.

The project outcome was a unique website that allowed
users to reduce their energy usage. This was achieved
by utilising the functionalities of other websites combined
with an understanding of comsumer habbits.

appeal to both the eco minded and global warming sceptics.
