DrumSkin: Wearable Percussive Instrument

Wearable electronic percussion.

The hoody contains washable wiring, speakers,
transducers and a tiny removable amplifier.

With it you can create a range of beatbox style
sounds, from low and high beats to scratching.
The Drumskin does not contain a chip with limited
preset sounds and instead depends entirely on
how you tap, rub, or scratch the fabrick to determin
the sounds created. Whether you want beats to
jam to or just fun new clothing, try tapping on
a Drumskin.

One of the prototypes for the project resulted
in the 'DrumPod', that can turn any surface into
a percusive musical intrument.
